Terms of Service

1. The Service

RedNoteViDownload ("the Service") is a tool that fetches publicly available media from RedNote (Xiaohongshu) links you provide, converts it to standard formats, and lets you save it to your own device. The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available".

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and for personal, non-commercial use. You must NOT:

• download content you have no right to save, or re-upload, sell or redistribute someone else's content as your own;
• use the Service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person;
• attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service (including excessive automated requests);
• use the Service for content that is illegal where you live.

Creators own their work. Saving a copy for yourself does not transfer any rights to you. When in doubt, ask the creator for permission.

3. Intellectual property

The Service itself (code, design, branding) is our property. Videos, images and audio accessible through RedNote remain the property of their respective creators and/or RedNote/Xiaohongshu. We claim no ownership over third-party content and act purely as a technical conduit at your request.

4. No warranty

We work hard to keep the Service fast and reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that every link will resolve. Format support and availability depend on third-party platforms outside our control and may change without notice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us — which is zero.

6. Third-party platforms

The Service is independent and is not affiliated with RedNote / XiaoHongShu. Your use of RedNote itself is governed by their own terms. If RedNote changes its platform in a way that limits the Service, some features may stop working until updated.

7. Copyright complaints

We respect creators' rights. If you are a rights holder, see our DMCA page for takedown instructions — we act on valid notices promptly.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date below reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means acceptance. We may restrict access for users who abuse the Service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Agra, Uttar Pradesh shall have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to sue elsewhere.

10. Rights, permission & technical scope

The Service processes only publicly accessible links that you submit. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content, and we do not grant you any rights to it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights or permission before downloading or using any content. You must not use the Service to violate copyright laws, privacy rights or the rules of any platform, and nothing here encourages such use. Reported misuse is acted on (see DMCA and Report Abuse).

11. Trademark disclaimer

All trademarks, service marks and trade names referenced on this site — including "RedNote" and "Xiaohongshu" — belong to their respective owners. Referencing them is descriptive only and implies no affiliation, relationship or endorsement by those owners.
